StatGear Red Ledge Slip Joint Knife

The StatGear Ledge is designed around being a legendary non-locking pocket knife. It’s a slipjoint design, with no lock and a blade under 3 inches – meaning it’s UK legal. The mechanism is refined, smooth and solid which helps keep your fingers safe from the razor sharp edge.

Unlike a lot of traditional slipjoints, this one includes a wider than normal blade – it’s much easier to open than a traditional pocket knife with it’s tiny nail nick system. Further, this one features an extended blade groove that runs the length of the knife – plenty to grip onto.

The blade itself is 2.5 inches long and made from the incredible D2 tool steel. It’s very strong, durable and easy to sharpen. Plus with the added chromium content of D2 it’s slightly rust resistant, though for sure not a stainless steel. With a fantastic modified sheepsfoot profile, it cuts easily and can get into small spaces for the finer detail work. Plus, it’s between 59 and 61 on the HRC scale – so you just know it’ll be good!

A stonewashed finish enhances the blades wear resistance by hiding some of the marks from everyday wear and tear. Plus, it’s non-reflective and quite a pretty finish to look at.

Fitted with a grippy but comfortable black G10 high tech polymer handle, this knife meets all the criteria for being an incredible daily driver. It’s durable, sharp and effective. This version includes cool red accents contrasting in the handle. A great option for EDC!
