Uddeholm Sleipner tool steel is an excellent all around high alloy steel with broad property profile. Further, it’s well know for taking all kinds of surface treatments well. This can include stonewash, high polish, satins and rougher ‘raw’ type blade finishes.

Sometimes written as 7% Cr, 0.5% V, 2.5% Mo, the composition of Sleipner steel is as follows:

Manganese: 0.5%
Silicium: 0.9%
Vanadium: 0.5%
